Tattoos are a growing fashion nowadays. As we all know, tattoos are markings, permanent or otherwise, which is made by inserting ink into the layers of skin, for decorative or aesthetic reasons.
A general rule in tattooing is that tattoos made right over the bones hurt the most, as opposed to tattoos made on parts of the body with more flesh (legs, arms, and the chest). So if you're not sure what to expect in tattooing or a bit jumpy on the pain it may cause, I suggest best place to have your first tattoo is in the shoulder, or on your upper arm.
Starting with simple tattoo designs like lines, dots, simple figures may also help if you're a newbie in the field. They are most common, and easiest to make, for most tattoo artists. However, don't be fooled by the star foot tattoo design. This may be a simple design, but most artist will decline making one, since this is also one of the most painful places to place a tattoo design on (the foot).
Star foot tattoos are not only rare because of the pain they may cause, but also because they are one of those tattoos that blur too easily. This blurring, or ink migration in a more technical sense, happens in all tattoos, but the foot tattoos are the most common types that experience such blurring. What happens here is just that the ink spreads over time, causing the design to blur. So, if you're going to have a star foot tattoo, be sure to go back to your artist and have it re-inked if necessary. The best place for foot tattoos are on top of your foot. Tony Newton
